NVIS Day is an opportunity to setup and test antennas in a Near Vertical Incidence
Skywave (NVIS) configuration. Can we communicate with amateur radio stations
that are within a 0 to 500 mile radius on the 40m and 80m amateur radio bands?
Information about NVIS can be found here https://arrl-ohio.org/nvis-links/
NVIS DAY officially starts at 10am and ends at 4pm.
We will setup antennas to test and fire up the grill for lunch.
Dress for the weather, bring a folding chair, side dish to share for lunch and
optionally an antenna to test. Official NVIS day info visit https://arrl-ohio.org/nvis/
